This is anecdotal. But it is making me stop, rub my chin and go "Hmmmmmmm?"

I track a dozen or so sites for traffic on Google and three other analytic's tools. These sites are all over the place as for industries, type of site and content. They are all in and around Toronto but most have at least a national scope.

Consistently over the last couple of months the traffic has been tied to the weather. I know the weather, as I am an avid golfer, and watch it daily to see if I can play, and what the temperature is, so I can bring the right gear.

Well, the results are not what I would have imagined. On rainy days all the traffic goes down. And on sunny nice days - like today - the traffic goes up.

You would think it would be the opposite.
This would make an interesting research project, me thinks!
